Generations for Peace Association | School Bags and Stationery Campaign As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children and families in marginalized and affected communities, Generations for Peace Association carried out a campaign to distribute school bags and stationery to students in the Al-Ras Bedouin community, near the village of Abu Falah. The initiative aimed to support children at the beginning of the school year and help ease some of the burdens faced by their families. The campaign included the distribution of school bags and educational supplies to students, in addition to organizing a recreational activity for children. The event provided them with a space for joy and play, allowing them to spend time filled with smiles and hope despite the difficult circumstances they are experiencing. The campaign comes amid the challenging humanitarian conditions faced by the community’s residents, who, according to residents’ accounts, were displaced from their lands several months ago following what they described as settler violence, including the seizure of land, the displacement of residents, and the theft of livestock. They subsequently moved to the Al-Ras Bedouin community in search of safety and stability. At Generations for Peace Association, we believe that supporting children and protecting their right to education and to live with dignity is a humanitarian and social responsibility. We will therefore continue to stand alongside these communities, support their children and families, strengthen their resilience, and provide whatever assistance we can amid the circumstances they face.
